I stopped producing visual artwork in 2009 while I write a novel. This is a real change of direction for me. Becoming a novelist was not in my plans but I found the single image communication of painting inadequate for the story I want to tell. I am sharing my process of writing and assembling my auto-biographical fiction here.
I am 25000 words into the first draft and hope to get it complete by October 2010. This is a lonely process but when I'm done I'll be back out in the world meeting new people and perhaps making art again. Meanwhile my computer seems like a ball & chain! I have a webcam.
